Graduated with honours from Radboud University Medical School in 2001.
Specialized in psychiatry at Utrecht University Medical Center.
First years as a psychiatrist at the Dutch Military Hospital, specializing in mood disorders, psychotherapy
and stress and trauma related disorders.
Extensive experience in emergency psychiatric care, psychosis, mood & personality disorders.

Practical information:
Insurance: Most healthcare insurances do not cover a private psychiatrist.
Fee: minimum one hour session at 280 euro, hereafter 220/hour.
Payment methods: PayPal, banktransfer, cash or crypto.
To keep your medical privacy assured and my administrive burden low, part of our terms of agreement is that you
ask me to erase all medical information regarding your case, when my service to you ends.
After introductions, we will start with articulating your wish regarding the session: 'How can I help you? What is
it you would like me (and us) to look into?'
I don't use an office, but pay you a visit at your location of choice in Amsterdam, Utrecht & 't Gooi.
Diagnostic question: If you have developed complaints or symptoms we will start a diagnostic process,
adding up to a diagnosis and advise regarding treatment (1-2 hours).
Medication evaluation, short term treatment & medication
prescription.
Ultra Brief Psychotherapy up to 5 sessions is an option for you to choose from (sessions up to 90
minutes).

The complaint will be assessed by an impartial commission. The process will last several weeks and needs you to be
able to supply the commission with additional information.
To summarize:
As your private psychiatrist, I come to you in the greater Amsterdam area, Utrecht, or
Het Gooi. Together -you can invite family or a feind to join us- we look into your current issue and, if
possible, review any current medication and start a short term treatment. The treatment can consist
of medication (prescription) and/or psychotherapy. If you wish, I will inform your GP. My service is
not covered by most insurances
